Finca Peña Lobera
Peña Lobera elegantly expresses the soul of the village La Aguilera. It is made on Tinto Fino, otherwise known as Tempranillo. It is a single vineyard wine where you can feel the taste of the calcareous, sandy soil. The wine is beautiful now and can be consumed today, or matured for up to 15 years.

Enjoy just by itself, or with game meat, a warming stew, mature cheese or jamón ibérico at 18°C
Curiosa

The philosophy of Hacienda Solano is to work with low intervention. That means no added yeasts, no additives and less time on oak than in most wineries in Ribera del Duero. The small winery works in a sustainable manner without for example any herbicides or pesticides.

Production

Manual harvest. Vinification in open caskets. Manual work and careful maceration. Matured for 8 months in used oak 500l barrels and 11 months in small concrete tanks.
